After 6 weeks of trying to get "Wish you were here" by Pink Floyd covered it finally happened. With the help of guitar great Jason Z. (Sulu, The J's) I was able to capture the song and sound. Now we will add a couple more tracks like piano and organ, then on to vocals to finish this sucker up.

Poet Gypsy Jim was here this week pouring over thousands of loops to place into various songs. Many, many hours of trying out one loop with another to get a good sound. 30 hours of logged time with two songs pretty much in the can. He is scheduled to be here again this coming week Monday thru Wednesday.
The J's were in the studio Sunday working on two new songs and listening to the mixes I made during the week. I sighed with relief when they told me they liked what they heard. The new songs were captured in a a short amount of time as everything just seemed to fall into place. A new poet here at the studio named Gypsy Jim has requested time for this week to work on a cd project that will be using nothing but loops and his writings. It sounds like a fun project and I can't wait to get started.
Spent the whole week mixing songs recorded by the J's. Now the nerve wracking part of waiting for them to decide if they like what I have done. If that clears then vocals will be next for them on the schedule.
I have been so busy here at the studio that I have neglected posting anything. In a nutshell- 5 bands in less then 3 weeks. Lot's of recording, writing and video being done. Am now incorporating the Studio One DAW in oddly enough studio one and Logic in studio 2. The videos are being all done in Final Cut Pro in studio 3. Will try not to take so long to get another update to this site again.
