5 days ago we got the iTrack from focusrite in. We have been learning and playing with it the whole week and are ready for the first project. We will be using Auria as our DAW and will be recording a duo which had asked us about recording on the iPad a couple of months ago. This is going to be a very lo-fi recording session, not because of the equipment, but because that is what the client is looking for. They want every song to be raw. To capture the power and fun as its being recorded. I have to admit I think it will be fun to do this. I remember recording a guitar on a cassette recorder, then playing that while recording another instrument along with it onto another. Was the quality great? No. Was it record pressing quality? OF COURSE NOT! But man I still feel the energy and commitment that went into it everytime I listen to it. We will keep you up to date as this project continues.

Received the Focusrite iTrack dock for the iPad. A while back we had a client that wanted to do an entire cd on the iPad. That turned out to be quite the challenge with the interfaces we have, so we ordered the iTrack and got it all hooked up. We will be having our first session tonight so the client can see what we can do. Big shout out to Wades guitars for your great Snafu guitar line. If you are ever on the east side of Milwaukee check them out. Thats it for now as I have to go get ready for this evening.
