Well two days after getting our iMac back it was taken back to Apple because the HD failed. Thank God for Time Machine and the other backups we made. So because I had more days to futz around I changed the look of this site and rearranged the studios as follows. STUDIO 1 will be recording with Logic. STUDIO 2 will be recording with Cubase. STUDIO 3 will be recording with DP7. All the other DAW's have been deleted and will not be used here anymore. We are opening back up on Monday August 29th and have the Nervous Gypsy Two Steps coming in for some new tracks to be recorded.

Got my beloved iMac back this evening and just got finished setting everything back up. I was going to call our clients and let them know we are back in business but I think I will take the extra days off and get everything just the way I want them. Time to go home now.
Our iMac is being fixed and has a E.T.A. of Monday August 16th. A big SORRY to any clients who had time booked here during this time period. We will honor all studio time as soon as we get everything back up and running. Thank you for your patience during this goofball time.
Just before noon today my trusty iMac crapped out. The studio is at a stand still until this can be repaired. Thank goodness for this standby iMac for emails and things like this. Lucky for me (and of course my clients) all of the music is backed up in several different places so nothing is lost. Hopefully Apple will get this repaired in a reasonable amount of time so we can back to recording again. I guess I'll go home and do some laundry.
The time has slipped away again. We have added some more HD space to the studio as well as went full bore with Pro Tools. The vast majority of clients recording here still use Logic, but PT is becoming very popular. Been busy here, but not as busy as usual. Lots of vacations going on as well as writing and preparing for the studio before actual recording starts. The J's EP looks like a September release date for sure as last minute changes have been requested. Went to a local festival here in Milwaukee called Festa Italiana and saw a band called the Bronx Wanderers. These are really awesome so I put their site here for you to check out. Amazing harmonies and right on music made for one hell of show. http://www.myspace.com/thebronxwanderers/music/songs
Looks like August will be see some new bands coming thru the studio so I will let you know what happens. |
