Over the past two weeks my noodle (brain) has been soaking up stuff at breakneck speed. I read somewhere that we have dreams to purge our brain like a hard drive needs to be cleaned. The dreams are our last ditch effort to make a point and then clear space for more info. My dreams have been crazy and in color and have really upped the space to learn in my mind 10 fold. I'm learning songs on the guitar faster. I'm picking up the bass faster, and I'm getting back into the ukulele again and finding the sounds most fascinating. The other day I was given a copy of Studio One Pro. This has to be one of the most intuitive DAW's I have ever used. Drag and drop, tons of loops and sounds. It gave me a whole new lease on creativity that has been missing for awhile. I also started using Band in a box with a whole lot of success. Bottom line is I have written 8 new songs in the last 2 weeks. This period has without a doubt been my most creative. My advice my dear ones is to always strive to learn something new. Who knows what kind of things will pop into your noodle and drive you forward. I will keep you posted as to any work being done here and any changes we might have up our sleeves.
I have no reasonable excuse for taking so long to post here. We have been recording on a regular basis and have taken some time off, but that still is no excuse for the lack of posting. We currently have 4 bands recording here, each with their own kind of agenda. The iPad project has been scrapped for the time being until everyone ( you know who I mean ) can get their SHIT together. Yeah, I said it, so deal with it. We also started looking for female singers to complete a project, but that has been going rather slow. So, to make my point a little stronger. We are still open and recording. We have not closed so if you have a project you need done please call. Now for the douchebag that keeps telling people that we suck and we are closed, please stop or I will be forced to reign down a storm of shit on you like you have never seen. Considered yourself warned!
