Mr. Jambles was here again today going crazy with the recording. He came in around 10 this morning, took a 15 minute lunch break at 2 and just left about 20 minutes ago. This guy really likes to jam, there is no doubt about that. The stories this guy tells are priceless. I'm thinking of asking him to just do an audio recording of just his stories. Anyway, there is a storm coming so I'm shutting everything down and going home.

JJ Jambles got here at 2pm and just left about a half hour ago. Jam after jam this evening with all of it sounding great. I enjoy recording this guy so much I actually lost track of time and did not feel hungry. Starving now, so off to the restaurant for some food and then home.
J.J. Jambles is here in the studio laying down some blues. Had a great week recording, throwing around ideas and just having fun. He will be back the 15th to record some more. Idea is to have enough tunes down so recording can go into full blown mode.
Just finished recording some funky bass lines for a new song. One more day until J.J. Jambles gets here.
Looking forward to having J.J. Jambles here to record in the next couple of days. It will be an honor to have an icon like him recording in our humble studio.
The J's were here today doing some recording. What a freaking circus, but lots and lots of fun. These guys have a very short attention span is all I'm going to say.
Been getting some music recorded here at the studio. Been doing quite a few different things like starting a You Tube channel. Doing coding and learning Chrome OS as well as Linux OS. So in between all that stuff I have been writing music. Picked up a Dulcimer, well not a real one but a mini one. I love the sound it makes and am working on a song using it. Well, time to lock up and go home. Will most likely be here this weekend working on some stuff. The J's are scheduled to be here Sunday, so hopefully we will get some work done.
Wish I had a good explanation for not posting here sooner. Music has been mostly done on my own. Bands are few and far between. Oh well, no more boo-freaking who from me.
So back in October I was talked into watching the debate. Nothing was recorded so to speak but some ideas were thrown down. Now the election is over and I thought things would go back to normal. WRONG! The band I was recording came in and everything seemed ok. The talk turned to the election and thats when it all went to hell. 2 of the band members are Hilary backers, and 2 are Trump fans. It did not take long for this "recording" session to turn into a full blown shouting match. After the "go fuck yourself", "you're a fucking idiot" and other kind words were exchanged everyone up and left. The next day I got a call from the guitarist (Trump backer) who told me the drummer (Trump backer) and himself were still working on the songs and will call soon. I mean really, is this what I signed up for?
So, for the first time in 6 months I get people come over to record. I felt like a newbie trying to remember where everything is and what setting to use. I should mention that I have added Bitwig and Ableton to the list of DAW's here in the studio. Anyway, it was pretty casual, which was good because like I said I was still getting back into it. So we start about 6:30 and had some ideas thrown down on the computer and iPad. Then at 7:50 one of the guys says "holy shit!" I forgot about the debate tonight! Myself and the others looked at him and said seriously, you want to watch that crap? Well after a 2 minute lecture on why we should, we did. This is so fucked up as I would have much rather been recording. The good news is they will be back Saturday for a couple hours so hopefully we will start from where we left off.
